Livelihood Enterprise Development Program (LEDP) by NABARD
Project Summary
LEDP is a super specialized programme of NABARD in association with Jan Shikshan Sansthan Malappuram. This is conducted in the rural area of Malappuram district exclusively for the deprived women to build up a total sustainability means through vocational trainings and thus enhance the standard of living in all aspects of life. On the year, it was mainly focused on ‘Advanced Tailoring’ in Amarambalam Gram Panchayath. The curriculum and the sessions were so planned that the super specialization of the trade was implemented with utmost care to make them better equip in the subject. Their latent talents were unfolded and made active to accomplish things to their own mark through innovations.
Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP)
The Micro Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP) in Banana Processing sanctioned by NABARD during the year 2021-22 has made a remarkable change in the life of 30 women beneficiaries from Vazhakkad Grama Panchayath. The programme was conducted in the rural area of Malappuram district exclusively for the deprived women to build up a total sustainability means through vocational trainings and thus improve the standard of living in all aspects of life. The training is exclusively designed to expertise in banana processing
