Project Summary

Yuvakeralam is a placement linked skilling programme funded by Govt of Kerala implemented through Kudumbasree mission . The project aims to impart placement linked skill training to Kerala's 10,000 youth the youth of kerala economicaly independent and global relevant work force . The Yuva Kerala Project component under Athijeevanam Keraliyam Scheme that was announced by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on 27 Auguest 2020 . The state govt. has sanctioned around Rs. 60 crores for this scheme. In this YKP component, the beneficiaries would be members of poor families between the age group of 18 to 35 years. However, people from Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Differently Abled (PH) category can join up to the age of 45 years. The Yuva Kerala Project plan includes 100% free training, free travel, accommodation, meals, uniforms, post-placement support, counselling and tracking for a duration of 1 year
